Hello! I'm Maja [Ma-ya], a mixed-media artist specializing in soft sculptures, dolls, decorations, and abstract art; I share my passion and techniques through comprehensive tutorials. My work incorporates various materials and techniques, such as hand sewing and stitching, knitting, embroidery, crochet, needle felting, basic drawing and painting, sculpting, fabric and paper manipulation, including dyeing—the list goes on.

For those interested in exploring their creativity, I invite you to visit Flow, a monthly blog that is a space to wander, imagine, make, and experiment. There, you'll find free tutorials, DIY projects, creative experiments, and insights into my artistic process.

What I create changes and evolves as I do. I draw inspiration from nature, seasons, shamanic journeys, vision quests, folklore, and fantasy. Still, inspiration knows no bounds and can come from anything and everything. I develop my skills through countless hours of experimentation, transforming ideas into material creations.

I live in Ireland with my husband and our six cats. Besides being an artist, I enjoy gardening. I let my garden grow wild and change with the seasons. I see creativity in a similar way—each idea starts as a seed, and with care, it can grow into something unique and beautiful.

Thank you for stopping by—may your creativity always lead to something magical!
